Lachlan holds a Bachelors Degree in Audio Production, and Diploma in Contemporary Music. He creates and performs his own original progressive metal and plays in a hardcore/metal band called Black Glacier alongside a number of other local bands.

Outside of KSOM, Lachlan contracts as an Audio Engineer, recording, mixing and mastering albums/E.Ps for bands, as well as his own projects.
